Notice of publication of Sustainability Report 2020

Please be notified that Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management Company, Limited (President and CEO Takashi Saruta) has published its Sustainability Report 2020, a report which summarized the Company’s sustainability initiatives.

In August of this year, we established its "Principles of Fiduciary Duty and Sustainability" by adding elements of sustainability including ESG to its existing "Our Commitment to Fiduciary Duties." The Principles, as the basic policies for activities in line with our Corporate Philosophy, consist of Principles 1 and 2 to describe the responsibilities of an asset management company, and Principles 3 and 4 to describe the responsibilities of a corporate citizen. In this context, while we have focused on our company's stewardship activities and ESG investments in this report, the report covers our own sustainability initiatives, including our corporate governance, workplace environment and work style reform, CSR activities such as financial education, and environmental initiatives.
